New wall at the range

The phone books are dead! Long live the foam!

We have a new backstop wall at Rancho Park Archery Range. Last Sunday Feb 6th, (before the Superbowl.) We took the old wall down. Monday 7th another group of volunteers helped building the new one.

We moved 12 tons of books in one hour and forty minutes! More than 2 millions pages! 6,280 linear feet of phone books! Only in 1h 40min!

Ok, I´ve spent my allotment of exclamation marks, but it was amazing. Thanks to all the volunteers.

Thanks to Jay for the video

    Alejandro……….
Yesterday, Jan. 21, 2012, you taught a level 1 Archery class, in which I was a part of. A group of Boy Scout Leaders, who wanted to learn more about Archery and bring back to their respective, units, districts, and BSA Camps. I wanted to thank you again for a very enjoyable and informative day. Your knowledge and expertise in Archery is very impressive. Your teaching and instruction kept me and the others attentive the entire day. Never a dull moment. More importantly, for the new leaders it opened a new door, and for us who have been in Archery for awhile, a good refresher. Thank you again for your knowledge and expertise
